Flu Vaccination Season 2025/26
Beam Park Medical Practice
The flu vaccination programme is starting soon at Beam Park Medical Practice. Invitations will be sent to eligible patients in stages to make sure everyone has a chance to book at the right time. Please check below for when your group will be invited.
All flu vaccination clinics will take place at:
Beam Park Medical Practice, 2 Halewood way , RM13 8QZ
From October
- Children aged 2–3 years – Invites will be sent. Clinics will run for two weeks. They will be offered the live nasal flu spray.
- Children and young people aged 6 months–17 years – Eligible for the live nasal flu spray.
- If your child cannot have this due to a medical reason or because of religious considerations (porcine gelatine content), please call the practice so we can arrange an alternative injectable vaccine with our nursing team.
- School-age children – Will be vaccinated at school by Vaccination UK (not at the practice).
From Wednesday 1st October:
- Patients aged 65+ (and those turning 65 before 31st March 2026) will be invited. Clinics will run for two weeks.
- Adults in a clinical risk group,
- Pregnant patients,
- Immunosuppressed patients,
- Carers aged 18+ will be invited. Clinics will run for two weeks.
Additional Information
- Appointments: Invitations will be sent in advance. You will have 7 days to book using the link provided in your invite.
- If you need to book after your cohort’s invitation period has passed, please call us and we will help book you in.
- Additional appointments will be released after all initial invites have gone out, and we will continue to re-invite patients throughout the flu season.
- The flu vaccination season runs until March 2026.
- If you need an interpreter or have a long-term condition, please call us on 01708204672 so we can arrange a longer appointment with the most appropriate clinician.
